2021 COS CEO Leadership Lessons: Mary Coleman, BEST Health Plan

Mary Coleman is the youngest Latina CEO of a health plan in the state of Colorado — and quite possibly the nation. On Oct. 30, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, she stepped into her leadership role at Boards of Education Self-Funded Trust Health Plan. Drawing on her extensive experience in strategic health care, Coleman focuses on keeping the health of the population at the forefront of all of our minds. She will discuss the ways BEST increases quality of care while decreasing costs and some of the most common concerns she hears from the community.
